Dyadic Therapy

Ages 0 - 3 years

Parent-infant bonding isn’t always instant— like falling in love with anyone else, sometimes it’s immediate, sometimes it unfolds over time. Dyadic therapy works to strengthen the bond between young children and their caregivers. Parent and infant/toddler attend sessions together, working to deepen emotional attunement and communication that supports secure attachment. Dyadic therapy is often a key part of effective PMAD treatment, whether in conjunction with individual therapy, or as part of a broader treatment plan.

Session are 45 minutes, weekly, and occur in-person, held in the baby-proofed therapy space equipped with age-appropriate toys and supports— play mat, Boppy, floor gym, and sensory materials, etc.
