Adult Individual Therapy
Psychotherapy deepens our understanding of how we experience the world. I work collaboratively with clients to identify what feels most pressing right now, then explore personal history to make meaningful connections between past and present. My approach is psychodynamic and interpersonal, emphasizing the role relationships past and present — including the therapeutic relationship. I believe our early experiences and relationships shape how we cope, communicate our needs, and the patterns that get us stuck.
I also draw on trauma-informed and attachment-oriented approaches, as well as DBT and CBT, when appropriate.
Common presenting concerns include anxiety, depression, perfectionism and burnout, major life transitions, and relationship difficulties.
